Location:
Hodges, SC 29653
Pay Rate:
$25.00/hr
Shift:
1st Shift-6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday with weekends as needed Right now they are working 4am-4pm until they get caught up.

Plant Supervisor for our client in Hodges, SC OpSource has partnered with an Automotive Quality Inspection company Position Overview We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee daily operations in a foundry/casting environment. This role requires strong leadership ability, casting knowledge, and comfort working in a heavy-industrial setting. Is a foundry plant, so the environment is slightly dirtier than traditional warehouses and has a distinct odor. Experience working in a casting or foundry facility is highly preferred. All lead positions will need to come in 30 minutes early an stay 30 minutes late to start and end the shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead associates throughout the shift. Coordinate workflow and maintain production requirements. Safely and efficiently operate a forklift. Use scanners, basic computer programs, and complete required documentation. Train associates on procedures, safety expectations, and proper equipment use. Communicate effectively with management regarding production, safety, and staffing needs. Support continuous improvement and address operational issues as needed. Assist with and perform heavy lifting when required.
Requirements:
Casting experience and forklift experience required. Crane and hoist experience preferred. Experience working in a casting or foundry facility highly preferred. Must be able to read, write, and fully understand English. Must have reliable transportation. Must be comfortable with heavy lifting. PPE & Safety RequirementsMust have steel-toe boots. Must have and wear metatarsal covers. Will provide all other required PPE.Must wear work pants (no jeans, leggings, yoga pants, etc.).
