Kudzu Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor for a facility in Trenton, SC. This position is responsible for directly supervising and coordinating employees assigned to a designated shift and production area. The ideal candidate will have previous leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or recycling environment and be comfortable managing employees, production workflow, safety compliance, attendance, performance, and daily operational needs. Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Supervisor Supervise daily shift operations and provide direction to production employees Assign duties and manage workflow within manufacturing, sorting, and/or recycling operations Enforce company safety procedures, environmental policies, and regulatory requirements Document and report safety violations, misconduct, and other employee concerns Investigate and document production problems and ensure issues are appropriately resolved Identify opportunities to improve production methods, material flow, efficiency, and productivity Help reduce waste and improve overall operational processes Troubleshoot process and equipment issues and communicate concerns through the appropriate channels Monitor production equipment and communicate preventive maintenance and repair needs to the Maintenance Department Coordinate equipment startups and shutdowns for weekends, holidays, and scheduled operating changes Train, coach, and develop employees assigned to the shift Plan short-term staffing needs and communicate staffing concerns to the Production Manager Approve overtime and overtime schedule changes as needed Receive, investigate, and document employee concerns and suggestions Conduct performance evaluations for hourly employees Communicate new policies, procedures, and operational expectations to employees Monitor and enforce company attendance policies Counsel employees regarding attendance, performance, safety, and workplace concerns Work with Human Resources regarding employee discipline and corrective action Make recommendations regarding hiring, discipline, promotions, transfers, pay increases, and termination Maintain accurate timekeeping and approve employee timecards through iSolved Benefits of the Manufacturing Supervisor Full-time employment opportunity Competitive compensation based on previous experience Opportunity to take on a key leadership role within a manufacturing operation Hands-on supervisory position with opportunities to train and develop employees Opportunity to contribute to process improvements, productivity, safety, and overall operational success Requirements of the Manufacturing Supervisor High school diploma or GED required

Flexible schedule; days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as operationally required Previous lead or supervisory experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, recycling, or a similar industrial environment Strong leadership and employee-management skills Experience directing employees, assigning duties, and managing production workflow Experience with employee coaching, counseling, performance management, and disciplinary procedures Ability to manage staffing needs and overtime requirements Experience with timekeeping and approving employee timecards; iSolved experience preferred Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to troubleshoot production and process issues Strong understanding of workplace safety procedures and policies Ability to communicate effectively with employees, management, Human Resources, and Maintenance Willingness to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as operationally required Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled industrial environment Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
