Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Fabricator / Fabrication Manager to oversee our ornamnetal fabrication operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products through efficient processes and strong team leadership. This role is pivotal in managing fabrication teams, coordinating production schedules, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of manufacturing management, process optimization, and supply chain coordination, with a passion for leading teams towards operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead and manage the fabrication team to meet production goals, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency standards are upheld. Weld, cut, fabricate, and install steel products. We have specific guidelines and requirements to follow in a fabrication process and manuel that is still in the process of finalizing that we require to adapt to and conform too. Oversee daily operations including assembly, mechanical processes, and quality control to ensure adherence to specifications and standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain management, engineering, and operations to streamline processes and resolve production issues promptly. Maintain comprehensive documentation of fabrication activities, safety protocols, and quality assurance records while fostering a culture of lean management and operational excellence. Qualifications Proven experience in production management or manufacturing leadership within a fabrication or assembly environment. Knowledgeable and efficient in ornamental steel fabrication (handrail, stair systems, gates, and fence). Ability to problem solve and overcome obstacles and work through problems diligently. Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and promote cross-functional communication. Mechanical knowledge relevant to fabrication processes including assembly techniques and quality control standards. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within a fast-paced production setting while maintaining focus on safety and quality standards.
