A Production Plant Foreman works with the Plant Manager or Supervisor in scheduling the activities of the employees and team leaders. Meets regularly with the team leaders to communicate anticipated production sequences, to discuss potential production problems, and to provide opportunity for input on improvement of work processes and work flow. Starting at $80,000 annually (higher pay available based on experience) Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Plant Superintendent / Plant Manager to lead daily operations across two manufacturing facilities. This leadership role is responsible for driving safety, quality, production efficiency, scheduling, equipment maintenance, and on-time delivery while providing direct leadership to production supervisors and supporting a growing workforce. The ideal candidate has a strong background in structural steel fabrication, hands-on manufacturing leadership, and experience managing complex fabrication projects in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day operations across two fabrication facilities operating multiple shifts. Lead and mentor production supervisors while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining quality standards and on-time deliveries. Manage fabrication efficiency, equipment maintenance, workflow planning, and overall plant performance. Oversee safety initiatives and ensure compliance with company and industry standards. Coordinate activities across multiple departments, including Receiving, Inventory, CNC Processing, Fabrication, Welding, Paint, and Shipping. Support workforce development, employee engagement, recruiting, retention, and succession planning. Assist with disciplinary actions, performance management, and coaching of supervisors and team members. Identify opportunities to improve productivity, quality, efficiency, and operational performance. Collaborate with senior leadership to achieve production goals and business objectives. Required Qualifications 7+ years of experience in structural steel fabrication. 5+ years of leadership experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or production environment. Strong knowledge of

welding standards (CWI certification preferred but not required). Experience working in an AISC-certified fabrication shop or similar environment. Proven experience managing large, heavy, and complex fabrication projects. Knowledge of SSPC and ASTM coating requirements. Thorough understanding of fabrication operations, production workflows, and manufacturing best practices. Experience overseeing multiple production departments, including Receiving, Inventory, CNC Processing, Fabrication, Welding, Paint, and Shipping. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to identify operational risks and implement process improvements. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
