Job Description

Mativ is a global leader in specialty materials headquartered in Alpharetta, Georgia. The Company offers a wide range of critical components and engineered solutions that connect, protect, and purify our world. This role reports to the Production Supervisor and plays a key role in coordinating materials and staffing within the cell, ensuring timely, high-quality product manufacturing for customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Optimize work centers by moving staff and ensuring available materials for scheduled areas. Update information on the cell board as directed by the supervisor and may lead the cell board meeting. Reviews and ensures short-interval control sheets are available and completed hourly. Responsible for training new employees when needed. Performs root cause analysis and resolves problems. Supports, complies with, and ensures compliance with Health & Safety regulations, company policies, and procedures. Performs product inspection during the manufacturing process, as directed by the supervisor. Works with manufacturing staff on quality and production-related issues. Performs inventory transactions as directed. Monitors changeover and/or line setup efficiency. Performs root cause analysis and resolves problems.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Must have 1+ years of experience leading and assisting small group activities in a manufacturing environment. Exercise considerable initiative/judgment in work methods and in interpreting and delegating work requirements. Must have strong PC skills and experience with SAP, MII, label software, and Microsoft Office. Must be able to use measurement devices such as calipers and rulers.

Previous experience in a lead role Train-the-trainer experience
