Production Manager | Millington, TN | Direct Hire Overview You will own all manufacturing activities at the site: production planning and scheduling, workforce leadership, quality management, safety culture, and continuous improvement. You will lead a team of production supervisors and are expected to be a genuine operator who understands the floor as well as the numbers. Schedule Day Shift What you will do Direct daily production operations and ensure throughput, quality, and safety targets are met Manage and develop a team of production supervisors; own their performance and development Lead production planning and scheduling; hold budget accountability at the production level Drive continuous improvement initiatives using structured methodology (Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent) Own the safety culture on the production floor and enforce compliance with environmental and OSHA requirements Partner cross-functionally with maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain What we are looking for 5+ years of production or operations management in a heavy industrial, chemical, or process manufacturing environment Experience leading multiple supervisors, not just a direct crew Direct ownership of production planning, scheduling, and budget Quality management experience: root cause analysis, ISO compliance, or equivalent QMS Demonstrated safety program leadership Lean/Six Sigma or CI project experience is a strong plus
