Job Summary The Production Lead is responsible for assisting in making all items that are manufactured or assembled at the facility. This would include any necessary secondary operations such as painting, prepping, or patching product. Some other examples would include tying steel rebar mats, pouring concrete, finishing concrete, general housekeeping, and all necessary tasks to provide products for sale while maintaining a clean and safe facility. The individual must also promote and abide by all company safety procedures and company guidelines. This individual reports to a Group Leader and works in conjunction with others to harmoniously complete the production requirements of the entire plant, in a safe and efficient manner. This is a union role. Job Responsibilities Abide by all safety and company policies including wearing all required safety gear as instructed and by policy Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times Ability to read drawings to make company specific products Ability to operate the standard equipment in the area including hand tools, cranes, tie guns, forklifts and etc. after receiving the appropriate and approved training Attend all required meetings and provide the necessary information as outlined by the Group Leader or above Perform any other duties as assigned by Production Manager, Operations Manager or other authoritative individuals as deemed appropriate and necessary by them Ability to supervise others Assist other departments as needed to be a part of the team concept of the entire facility Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent At least two years of leadership experience and construction or related industry experience preferred Ability to lift 40lbs on a regular basis Ability to handle rebar or mesh safely Ability to work on your feet for the majority of the day in a production/plant environment subject to unheated and non-air conditioned environment Ability to perform standard math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division Ability to read a tape measure and add/subtract fractions What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base pay Comprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programs Group retirement savings program Health and wellness programs An inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
