DTF Supervisor/Shift Lead (Weekend Shift, Friday

Full-time Job Summary:
The Weekend Shift Supervisor / Lead is a hands-on leadership role on the production floor. This individual works alongside the production team throughout the shift, operating equipment, directing warehouse activity, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring efficient workflow. This role requires experience with DTF printing, garment decoration and e-commerce fulfillment, and a critical thinker who can quickly learn systems, solve problems in real time, and continuously identify opportunities to improve efficiency. You will serve as the primary point of contact for your shift, escalating to upper management as needed. Key Responsibilities Production Leadership & Problem-Solving- Lead from the floor —actively working alongside the team for the entire shift
- Supervise production staff and coordinate workflow priorities.
- Identify bottlenecks in real time and adjust staffing or processes to maintain flow
- Monitor production performance and recognize patterns impacting efficiency
- Operate production equipment (DTF printers, heat presses, gang printers, embroidery, etc.) as needed
- Troubleshoot issues independently and escalate with clear context and proposed solutions Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Oversee receiving, stocking, and overall warehouse organization
- Manage inventory transactions and maintain accurate records in Turbine
- Ensure blanks (apparel) and materials are organized and readily accessible
- Monitor inventory levels and flag shortages or discrepancies
- Coordinate with sourcing for urgent or emergency material needs Systems & Process Execution
- Learn and become proficient in Turbine (order and warehouse management system)
- Track job status, update workflows, and maintain accurate production logs
- Understand and manage the full production lifecycle: intake → print → press → QC → shipping
- Utilize system data to support production reporting and decision-making
- Communicate priorities, updates, and issues clearly to leadership Team Support & Quality Control
- Assign tasks and adjust staffing based on production demands
- Train, support, and mentor team members while working alongside them
- Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet standards
- Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and quality expectations Facility Operations
- Open and/or close the facility as required
- Ensure proper operation and care of all production equipment
- Maintain shift reports and track performance metrics What We're Looking For Core Mindset

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in production, manufacturing, printing environment, garment decoration and e-commerce fulfilment, preferred
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
- Warehouse and inventory management experience a plus
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
- Solid communication and organizational skills
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with production equipment
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods in a production setting Technical Knowledge (Preferred, Not Required)
- Familiarity with DTF printing workflows (file setup, RIP software, ink management, powder application, heat pressing)
- Basic understanding of color accuracy and print quality control
- Experience with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Experience with inventory or production management systems (or willingness to and development for all team members.
