One of our Clients is a growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supervising production employees, ensuring safety and quality standards, meeting production goals, improving efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has previous manufacturing supervisory experience and a strong background in production planning, team leadership, safety compliance, and Lean manufacturing principles. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily manufacturing operations and production personnel. Lead by example and maintain a safe work environment while enforcing OSHA and company safety standards. Ensure production schedules are achieved while meeting quality, cost, and efficiency objectives. Monitor key production metrics including safety, quality, productivity, and downtime. Identify production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Coordinate materials, tooling, fixtures, and documentation to support production schedules. Train, coach, mentor, and evaluate production employees. Develop cross-training programs to improve workforce flexibility. Promote Lean Manufacturing, 6S, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain inventory accuracy and Kanban material systems. Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities. Prepare production reports, dashboards, and performance metrics. Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth production flow. Conduct employee performance evaluations and manage disciplinary actions when necessary. Required Qualifications Previous experience supervising employees in a manufacturing environment ( Required ) High School Diploma or GED One of the following: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field with 5+ years of manufacturing experience Associate's degree with 6+ years of related manufacturing experience OR 11+ years of directly related manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree Strong leadership and communication skills Experience improving manufacturing performance and productivity Ability to analyze production problems and implement solutions Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Preferred Qualifications Aerospace, defense, precision machining, or high-volume manufacturing experience Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement methodologies Experience reading engineering drawings and GD&T Familiarity with SolidWorks, Mastercam, or HSMWorks Experience with tooling management and manufacturing documentation Mechanical, hydraulic, or robotic automation experience is a plus Why Join Us?
