Wage and Salary will be based on experience. : TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a Welding Foreman with at least 7 years of welding and fabrication experience for a machine shop in the Wharton TX area. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for supervising the welding team while actively performing MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Candidates must have experience reading blueprints and weld symbols, overseeing fabrication projects from layout through final inspection, and maintaining quality and safety standards in a machine shop environment. Previous lead or supervisory experience is required, along with the ability to train and mentor team members, coordinate daily production, and collaborate with machinists on precision fabrication projects. AWS certification is a plus, and a high school diploma or GED is required.
Special Instructions/Additional Info:
Thisperson would be in a supervisor position and work on the floor with the guys 90% of the time.. A supervisor is no good if they don't know how to do the job themselves.
Attire:
jeans/dickies type pants (blue), steel toe boots.
