Strongly Preferred Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Group Lead - Production & Packaging to support daily manufacturing operations at our Haslet, Texas facility. The ideal candidate is a hands-on production leader with experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, medical device, or another cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment . This position will help lead and develop production employees while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, productivity, and regulatory compliance . Key Responsibilities Help lead and coordinate daily production and packaging operations. Lead, train, coach, and cross-train production employees. Promote a culture of safety, quality, teamwork, and productivity. Ensure employees follow cGMPs, SOPs, safety procedures, and work instructions . Monitor production goals, quality, and employee performance. Troubleshoot routine production issues and communicate problems to the Supervisor. Complete and review production paperwork, batch records, work orders, and other required documentation. Operate, set up, clean, sanitize, and tear down production equipment. Assist with equipment changeovers and basic mechanical adjustments. Perform hands-on packaging activities, including: Loading machines Making boxes Hand-packing products Perform visual and physical product inspections. Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready work area. Support 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Qualifications 4+ years of production, packaging, or manufacturing experience. Previous experience in a food, beverage, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, medical device, or other cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment . Experience leading, training, or coordinating production employees. Strong understanding of cGMPs, SOPs, safety, and quality requirements . Comfortable working in a fast-paced production and packaging environment. Basic computer skills and the ability to complete production documentation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing. High School Diploma/GED preferred. Strongly Preferred Bilingual English/Spanish. Previous experience as a Lead, Group Lead, Line Lead, Production Lead, or Team Lead . Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Lean Six Sigma . Experience with 5S . Experience using production systems such as Redzone, JDE, OEE , or similar systems.
