90-98k // Salary DOE About the Role We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing General Foreman to lead and coordinate multiple shop crews in a manufacturing environment. This position will oversee daily fabrication, welding, and machining activities while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to quality standards. The General Foreman will provide hands-on leadership to shop personnel, coordinate resources and manpower, resolve production issues, and serve as a key link between shop employees and management. Key Responsibilities Lead, train, mentor, and support skilled and semi-skilled manufacturing personnel. Assign daily work based on project requirements, employee skill levels, and production priorities. Coordinate daily fabrication, welding, machining, and manufacturing activities. Translate production plans into clear work assignments and priorities. Monitor production progress and adjust workflows as needed to meet schedules. Enforce company safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements. Ensure work meets quality standards, engineering specifications, and applicable requirements. Identify and address safety, quality, staffing, and production issues. Ensure crews have the necessary manpower, tools, equipment, and materials to complete assigned work. Monitor labor hours, material usage, and overall production efficiency. Communicate effectively with Production Management, Engineering, QC/QA, Operations, foremen, and shop personnel. Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and production progress. Provide regular updates to management regarding production, staffing, and operational issues. Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, workflow, productivity, and resource utilization. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. 10-15 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. 5-10 years of experience in a lead, foreman, or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of fabrication, welding, and machining. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents. Strong understanding of manufacturing procedures and proper equipment use. Ability to determine effective manufacturing practices and workflows. Strong leadership and team-management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to multitask and coordinate work across multiple areas of the shop. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Primarily work in a manufacturing/shop environment. Exposure to noise, moving equipment, and varying temperatures. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and other physical shop activities. Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds . Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Overtime or adjusted work hours may be required based on production needs. Must have reliable transportation and be able to consistently report to the Rosenberg, TX facility.
