Schedule:
Monday-Friday, some early starts Salary from 55,000-65,000 Run the shop. Own the schedule. Hit the number. At Signarama Houston we design, build, and install signs for businesses, both here in Houston and at job sites across the US. We need a hands-on Production Manager to take every job from order to invoice. You'll lead our production team, keep equipment and trucks running, and make sure every install gets done right the first time. What you'll do Move every job through receiving, design, permitting, production, QA, scheduling, install, and invoicing, without letting anything stall. Schedule local install crews and service technicians, and make sure every truck leaves with the materials it needs to finish the job. Manage sublet install vendors for out-of-town jobs nationwide, from the install package all the way to completion photos. Keep shop equipment and the vehicle fleet maintained and repaired, so downtime stays low. Train new production hires, coach the current team, and keep the shop safe. Know which jobs are closing each month, and plan capacity so we hit our monthly targets. What you bring 3+ years managing production in a sign shop, print shop, or similar fabrication environment 2+ years supervising a team of 3 or more Experience scheduling installs or field technicians Hands-on knowledge of wide-format printers, CNC routers, plotters, and laminators Experience tracking work against monthly production or revenue goals Comfortable with job management software, email, and spreadsheets Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Nice to have Experience managing subcontracted installers in multiple states Knowledge of sign permitting Experience with fleet management, including bucket trucks Electrical, channel letter, or monument sign experience Experience with Corebridge Why join us You'll have real ownership: the production floor and the schedule are yours to run.
