A Production Shift Supervisor oversees employees working on multiple production lines. Assigns tasks and adjusts workloads to meet production goals, schedules and monitors training and assess progress of the employees, monitors production quality and uses leadership skills to solve problems with employees.

Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to lead our Live Hang 1st Shift Department. In this role, the production supervisor will be leading daily operations by overseeing staffing, assigning work, monitoring employee performance, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and company standards. The supervisor also resolves operational issues, maintains workflow efficiency, and collaborates cross-functionally with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, while being professional and reliable. Key Accountabilities Lead and supervise daily department operations by assigning work and ensuring adequate staffing coverage to meet operational demands Monitor employee performance and provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development support Ensure compliance with animal welfare, company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards Resolve operational issues in a timely manner by identifying root causes of delays, errors, or inefficiencies; implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain productivity standards Partner with Leadership, QA, Maintenance, and other stakeholders to align priorities; provide clear shift updates, handoffs, and reporting Management of Shipping and MST departments Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship 2 years of experience as a Supervisor at a Poultry facility Availability to work weekends Basic computer skills Previous leadership or team lead experience in a production or operational environment Ability to effectively communicate with different levels of the organization Ability to identify, assess, and resolve operational issues to maintain workflow continuity Working knowledge of workplace safety practices and quality standards Demonstrated reliability, including consistent attendance and punctuality Ability to maintain a professional and respectful work environment when interacting with team members and leadership
