This position will lead daily production activities, manage employees and resources, maintain production schedules, and promote a positive, productive work environment. Key Responsibilities Supervise and direct shop production employees, providing clear instructions and guidance. Establish production goals and ensure schedules and deadlines are met. Train, develop, and coach employees while supporting succession planning. Handle employee performance, counseling, disciplinary matters, and related HR issues. Assign work, establish standards, and monitor employee performance. Develop and maintain production schedules while coordinating manpower, materials, and procedures. Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and available for production. Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, blueprints, and written work procedures. Apply strong mechanical and technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve production issues. Monitor production processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Maintain quality standards and enforce employee self-check procedures. Enforce safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements. Maintain accurate production documentation and reports. Utilize SAP for manpower and materials management. Coordinate effectively with management, supervisors, and other departments. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive workplace culture. Qualifications 1-3+ years of supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of production processes. Experience troubleshooting mechanical or production-related issues. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics. Familiarity with hand and power tools. Knowledge of English and Metric measurement systems. Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with computers and experience using SAP or similar ERP systems. Ability to multitask and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced production environment. Physical Requirements Ability to work in an active manufacturing environment. Ability to climb stairs and ladders. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs. Ability to remain active and mobile throughout the production floor. Why Consider This Opportunity?
