Job Description

Matern Staffing is hiring a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor at a wall barrier engineering and manufacturing facility in Spotsylvania, VA. The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing shift operations, supporting production goals, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This is a contract-to-hire position for 2nd shift. Typical hours are 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM, with availability required from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM as needed.
Salary:
$28 - $29/hr
Schedule:
Available Monday - Saturday between 6 pm and 6 am
What You'll Do:
Monitor daily production goals and adjust workflow as needed to keep operations on track Track time and attendance, ensuring proper staffing levels and accountability across the shift Issue and manage PPE to ensure all employees are compliant with safety requirements Coach and counsel employees on performance, attendance, and workplace expectations Communicate shift priorities and expectations clearly to the team Collaborate with leadership to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement Maintain accurate records and reports related to production and workforce activity
What You'll Need:
High school diploma or equivalent required 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coach and develop employees Ability to manage time, attendance, and shift priorities effectively Commitment to safety and enforcing workplace standards Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work a flexible 2nd shift schedule, including extended hours as needed About our
