About the Role We are seeking an experienced Printing Supervisor to lead daily operations within our printing department. This role is responsible for planning, directing, and supervising printing operations to ensure production schedules are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, productivity, and cost control. The ideal candidate will have experience in paperboard printing, flexographic press operations, food-contact packaging, and manufacturing leadership. This position works closely with Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Scheduling, and other production departments to optimize performance, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily printing department operations. Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and operational goals are achieved. Lead, coach, train, and develop production team members. Monitor equipment utilization and drive productivity improvements. Manage print quality, color consistency, registration, and press performance. Troubleshoot printing issues and coordinate solutions with maintenance and engineering teams. Implement waste reduction initiatives involving paperboard, inks, and other materials. Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, environmental, and workplace safety standards. Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce downtime. Collaborate with Die-Cutting, Forming, Packaging, and Warehousing teams to ensure smooth production flow. Maintain accurate production records and reporting. Promote a positive, safety-focused work environment. Food Safety & Quality Responsibilities The Printing Supervisor is responsible for supporting and maintaining compliance with: Food Safety programs HACCP requirements Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Food Defense protocols Quality workmanship standards Production of safe, high-quality products Candidates must possess the appropriate education, training, skills, and experience necessary to perform these responsibilities effectively. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 5 years of printing manufacturing experience. Experience printing on paperboard using flexographic presses.

Knowledge of:

Food-contact packaging regulations FDA compliance for food-contact materials Ink management and color control Anilox roll care Plate mounting Print registration Print quality standards and troubleshooting Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Ability to read and interpret production schedules, specifications, and quality requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems. Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree. 2-5 years of supervisory or leadership experience. Knowledge of flexographic, offset, or commercial printing processes.

Pay:
