" Shift Production Supervisor for industrial food processing plant for 12 hour day shift, 6am to 6pm Monday-Friday and 6pm to 6am Monday-Friday and weekends as needed. Located in Chesterfield County.Duties:
- Accomplishes production human resources objectives by orienting, assigning and coaching employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; adhering to policies and procedures. .
- Meets production operational standards by implementing production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards.
- Completes production requirements by expediting work results; monitoring progress; resolving problems.
- Improves workflow by minimizing stoppages.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with company policy; complying with legal regulations.
Skill/Qualifications:
- Experience in industrial plant production as line leader, foreman, floor leader or supervisor.
- Walking and standing for entire shift.
- Communication with employees.
