We offer sound-attenuated and weather-protective packaging for on-site power generation equipment, with products ranging from economical skin-tight enclosures to entire multi-unit power plants. We work to reform and modernize the integration process in a multitude of ways. Role Overview The Assistant Supervisor supports the Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the department by helping manage team performance, schedules, project execution, and employee development. This role partners closely with the Supervisor to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages the team, schedules, and deadlines. Provides material list for each project. Provides cost outs for each project. Ensures that work is accomplished in a safe and efficient manner. Maintains documentation of each job, from start to finish. Resolves issues or conflicts with Plant Supervisor and/or HR. Approves or denies vacation, sick and unpaid leave for employees. Writes and present annual performance reviews. Provides continual feedback to employees in department regarding their work performance. Leads by example. What we're looking for: Knowledge and understanding of process of work for Supervisor's direct area of responsibility Flexible and responsive with strong teamwork orientation Strong problem-solving skills Knowledge in use of basic hand tools Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment Strong orientation toward quality, safety, and continuous improvement Safety conscious behavior Ability to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail Previous Supervisor experience or proven leadership qualities while working at ASC Basic mathematical skills and knowledge in use of measurement tools Skill in the use and care of equipment and tools High School or Equivalent Physical & Work Requirements Ability to regularly walk the production floor and interact with manufacturing teams Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout manufacturing areas during assessments and improvement activities Ability to occasionally lift upto50lbs Ability to support multiple shifts and work flexible hours when required to facilitate improvement initiatives Ability to work in manufacturing environments Come helps us build safer, smarter, and more efficient ways to power the world's most demanding data centers.
