Role Overview The Assistant Supervisor supports the Supervisor in the day-to-day operations of the department by helping manage team performance, schedules, project execution, and employee development. This role partners closely with the Supervisor to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages the team, schedules, and deadlines. Provides material list for each project. Provides cost outs for each project. Ensures that work is accomplished in a safe and efficient manner. Maintains documentation of each job, from start to finish. Resolves issues or conflicts with Plant Supervisor and/or HR. Approves or denies vacation, sick and unpaid leave for employees. Writes and present annual performance reviews. Provides continual feedback to employees in department regarding their work performance. Leads by example.
