Job Description

Cargill is seeking a Production Lead for our Manufacturing & Production team. In this role, you will supervise day-to-day plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production of food products. You will coordinate workflows, allocate resources, and troubleshoot issues to meet output and safety goals. The Production Lead trains and mentors operators, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and supports implementation of lean manufacturing practices. You will collaborate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams, uphold Cargill's standards for integrity and food safety, and champion a culture of inclusion, innovation, and ongoing learning. Responsibilities Oversee daily manufacturing line operations to meet production targets. Ensure strict adherence to safety, food safety, and quality standards. Schedule and coordinate staff, equipment, and materials for optimal throughput. Train, coach, and mentor production operators and new hires. Monitor KPIs, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions. Lead or support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives. Collaborate with maintenance to minimize downtime and support preventive maintenance. Partner with quality and supply chain teams to resolve process and product issues. Maintain accurate production records, reports, and documentation. Promote a culture of integrity, inclusion, and continuous learning on the floor.
