Job Description

Join a manufacturing team responsible for the production of Class III medical devices in a regulated environment. This role oversees daily production operations, balancing quality, safety, delivery, and cost objectives while leading a production team on second shift. The position works closely with manufacturing, quality, and support functions to ensure production targets are met and continuous improvement initiatives are executed. •This role will be on Second shift schedule: Monday through Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM (4x10 schedule).• What You Will Do Direct daily production activities by allocating people, equipment, materials, and systems to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance targets. Lead second-shift operations with ownership of daily production execution, workforce management, team performance, staffing decisions, and achievement of production objectives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by leading Lean manufacturing activities, 6S programs, daily improvement meetings, and process optimization efforts. Monitor production results, review daily performance metrics, report variances, and implement corrective actions to address root causes and improve operational performance. Ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and safety requirements while maintaining a safe manufacturing environment and adherence to established procedures and policies.
What You Will Need Required:
Bachelor's degree or 4 years of equivalent experience. Minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing, production, operations, or a related environment. Minimum 1 year of experience leading or supervising employees, including performance management responsibilities.
Preferred:
Continuous improvement or process improvement experience in a manufacturing environment. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
Additional Information:
Second shift schedule: Monday through Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM (4x10 schedule). Overtime may be required based on business needs. Personal protective equipment may be required in designated production areas. Role may require occasional movement of materials or objects weighing up to 35 pounds.

$89,400 - $148,900 USD Annual
