Key responsibilities include:
Managing operations, budgets, staffing, supply orders, and equipment issues. Overseeing 60-75% of department staff, conducting performance reviews, and supporting employee development. Partnering with internal teams to improve workflows and resolve member concerns. Monitoring exam volumes, resource needs, and submitting business and capital cases.
Qualifications include:
At least 5 years of radiologic or sonography experience and 3 years in a supervisory role. Graduation from an accredited imaging program or equivalent experience. Relevant certifications such as Radiologic Technologist or Sonographer registration. Knowledge of hospital regulations, accreditation processes, and healthcare systems. Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and financial skills.
Preferred skills:
Availability for on-call support and experience with computer systems like Microsoft Office. Additional disciplines registration and advanced degrees are advantageous.
