Full Job Description What You Will Do:
The Production Supervisor will coach, develop, mentor and train the team to be the very best in the business. You'll be responsible for making sure that your team delivers the highest quality product, on time every time.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee the day to day activities of a team of production operators Set team goals and meet daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual expectations Measure and improve group performance Lead daily operations and continuous improvement, including production processes, quality, inventory, and operational safety Reduce operational cost, inventories, and lead times through continuous improvement Promote a team environment Performs special projects/tasks as assigned.
Preferred Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree a plus. Some demonstrated experience in a manufacturing management position, or progressive manufacturing experience in a hands-on position as a team leader. Preferred Experience 5 years' of experience in a manufacturing environment Preferred Specialized Skills and Abilities Working knowledge of aerospace products and production requirements Hands on knowledge of MRP systems is a plus Understanding of operations processes and principles Previous team leadership or people-management
Physical Requirements:
Frequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines and computer printers. Frequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer. The person in this position needs to frequently move inside the office. Frequent close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Occasionally use of steps, or ladder The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Seldom to occasionally position self to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
Eligibility Requirements:
•Must be authorized to work in the U.S.•This position requires either a US Person (as defined in applicable export regulations) or a non-US person who is eligible to obtain required export authorization•
Salary Range:
The typical hiring range for this role is: $81,000 - $120,000
