Production Supervisor Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate all core room functions to facilitate production schedule. 2. Ensure that there is sufficient consumable raw material inventory. 3. Ensure that all process instructions and shop card instructions for the preparation of all cores are followed. 4. Help identify and prevent all incidences of core related scrap. 5. Ensure that sample cores are produced to facilitate sample due date. 6. Ensure that all core room activities are OSHA compliant. 7. Recommend department staffing levels and schedule work accordingly. This includes approving vacation time and other variable time off. Maintain attendance records within the ERP system. 8. Follow through and document appropriate discipline according to company policies. 9. Provide training for new employees and work with HR and Operations to provide for the ongoing training needs of the core department. 10. Issue work orders to maintenance department and respond as necessary to assure that all equipment is in proper working order. 11. Perform work in a safe manner in accordance with established safety guidelines. 12. Perform other duties assigned by management.

Production Supervisor Requirements:
