Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Baking Lead (1st shift) to oversee the daily operations of our baking line. In this vital role, you will lead a team of production staff to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency are maintained throughout the baking process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence product excellence in a fast-paced, innovative food production environment. Responsibilities Lead and manage the bakery production team, ensuring adherence to quality, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and sanitation protocols. Oversee daily baking operations including ingredient handling, blending, proofing, baking, and packaging processes to meet production schedules. Monitor and maintain quality assurance standards ensuring customer requirements are met, conduct regular quality checks throughout the production cycle. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on daily operations and ensure a smooth workflow. Skills Knowledge of food industry regulations Proven experience managing manufacturing or food processing teams within a similar food production plant. Strong understanding of quality standards in production environments with a focus on food safety and sanitation practices. Excellent communication skills to lead teams effectively while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Ability to apply basic math skills for recipe adjustments, measurements, and quality calculations. Strong familiarity with manufacturing techniques specific to food & beverage production environments.
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
