If you're a hands-on leader with manufacturing supervisory experience, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement, this is a great opportunity to make a direct impact on plant performance and team success. Compensation Competitive salary based on experience. Shift leadership position with comprehensive benefits, profit sharing, and a 5% supervisor shift premium for working the rotating 12-hour schedule. Work Schedule Rotational 12-hour shift schedule supporting 24/7 manufacturing operations.
Day Shift:
6 AM - 6
PM Night Shift:
6 PM - 6 AM Earn an additional 5% Supervisor shift premium for working the rotating 12-hour schedule. Why Placon - You'll Love It Here Lead a high-performing production team in a growing manufacturing environment Opportunity to drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and productivity Direct impact on employee development, coaching, and operational success Collaborative culture focused on teamwork and innovation Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package Career growth opportunities within manufacturing leadership and operations management What You'll Do Lead, coach, and develop production and production support team members Establish and communicate performance expectations and departmental goals Coordinate employee training and support ongoing skill development Ensure daily production schedules and customer requirements are achieved Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and process issues using root cause analysis Monitor production efficiencies and drive continuous improvement efforts Plan staffing levels, overtime, temporary staffing, and PTO coverage Prepare operational and production reports Promote and support quality systems, GMP compliance, and documented procedures Partner with Production Management on corrective actions and quality initiatives Enforce and promote workplace safety programs and procedures Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions Support 5S initiatives and maintain a clean, organized manufacturing environment Manage multiple priorities while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards What You Bring Associate degree in Business, Leadership Development, or a related field and at least two years of leadership experience; OR Six years of leadership experience in manufacturing, production, or operations environments Previous experience supervising manufacturing or production employees Strong leadership, team building, and employee coaching skills Experience with continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, or operational excellence initiatives Effective problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong computer proficiency including Microsoft Office applications Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities Experience with quality systems, GMP, SPC, or SQF programs preferred Commitment to employee development and continuous learning Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds with assistance as required Does this sound like you?
