Core Responsibilities Supervise the tooling department's day-to-day activities while upholding high standards for quality, efficiency, and safety. Optimize productivity and workplace safety by effectively managing staff, equipment, and inventory resources. Drive performance by tracking key metrics and executing plans to hit or surpass production objectives. Enhance operational safety and processes by conducting regular audits and providing team training. Cultivate a collaborative culture by mentoring team members and encouraging active staff participation. Required Qualifications At least 5 years of experience leading teams within a manufacturing or tooling environment. A background as a Journeyman Tool & Die maker or equivalent technical expertise is highly desirable. Demonstrated success applying lean manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen principles. Expertise in maintaining process documentation and managing performance indicators. Competence in utilizing industry-standard software and the Microsoft Office suite.
