Monday-Friday 2nd (3pm-11pm) and 3rd (11pm-7am) shifts available Position Overview The Production Supervisor will lead day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This role is responsible for meeting production schedules, maintaining quality and safety standards, supervising and developing production staff, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize throughput and reduce waste. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate activities of production personnel to meet daily and weekly production targets while maintaining product quality. Plan and assign work, schedule shifts and resources, and monitor workforce performance and attendance. Enforce safety policies and procedures; conduct safety audits, incident investigations, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards. Implement and maintain quality control procedures, monitor process metrics, and work with QA to address non-conformances and corrective actions. Train, mentor, and evaluate production team members; identify skill gaps and coordinate ongoing training and development. Drive continuous improvement projects (Lean, 5S, Kaizen) to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs. Coordinate maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure proper operation. Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods in coordination with supply chain; ensure proper documentation and cycle counts. Prepare and present production reports, KPIs, and performance metrics to management; recommend operational changes based on data. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams on new product introductions, process changes, and capacity planning. Qualifications 3+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role. Demonstrated experience in operations management, production planning, and shop-floor supervision. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and practices (OSHA) and proven ability to enforce safety programs. Experience with quality control systems and tools (ISO, SPC, root cause analysis) and a track record of improving product quality. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen). Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Proficient in using production tracking systems, MS Office, and basic data analysis to manage KPIs. Ability to work flexible hours and support shift-based operations; physically able to walk the floor and inspect equipment as needed.
