: Griffin Armament is an industry-leading manufacturing technology company in the firearms market segment and is seeking a motivated and positive individual to join our Watertown, Wisconsin team. The position is 1st shift and falls under the Sales and Manufacturing departments for supervision and tasking. Griffin Armament is a clean, climate-controlled environment that specializes in metal manufacturing height of the industry prodcuts. We pride ourselves on quality, efficiency, and accuracy. All team members work efficiently but the work atmosphere is fairly relaxed and has a strong sense of community. Effective communication and respect for all are required. We have a thriving team environment and are selective when we add team members to our company.
WHO YOU ARE
: This job is not an entry-level opportunity. We are looking for someone with supervisory experience in a production environment. This position manages a small team of people working on spray coating, welding, de-buring, heat treating machines and others. In addition to supervising team members on machines this position also supervises the assembly of finished products and builds. We are looking for a motivated and energetic team player who leads by example and can motivate and drive a team. This job provides a variety of different work responsibilities such as analyzing processes for efficiency, tasking jobs to specific individuals, training new hires, keeping current in hard skills with all production equipment within your department, resolving problems which involve the assistance of other departments, etc. This position is vital to ensuring production runs of products are efficiently and effectively completed to time and quality standards. Your ability to lead team members within the organization, by your example, and to stay organized, and on track is critical to success.

The ability to care. Put forth the "extra effort", keep your areas clean, take pride in your work. Possess a "can do" attitude. There is nothing difficult about this job. Training will be provided on anything that you need to know in order to perform at a high level. Accept responsibility for your own actions and follow through on your commitments. We all work hard but have a fun time doing it. We do not micromanage so you must be a self-starter and have the ability to manage yourself with little oversight.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE POSITION
: A passion and basic knowledge of firearms and shooting sports. A positive uplifting attitude that allows you to effectively lead your team Willingness to be dedicated and motivated for the 60 day in-depth training process Ability to adhere to task management and scheduling/reporting requirements. High proficiency in oral, written communication skills, and organization (Good grammar, spelling, writing ability) College associates degree or higher is preferred No / minor criminal history. The federal agency governing our industry does not allow us to hire people with certain criminal backgrounds. A background check will be conducted. A successful background check is mandatory to be considered for this position. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds periodically is required
