Job Description
2nd Shift Fabrication Supervisor Ascent Professional Services up to $45 plus shift premium life insurance, short term disability, tuition reimbursement, 401(k), profit sharing United States, Wisconsin, Waukesha Aug 31, 2026 Our manufacturing client in Waukesha, WI are seeking a Direct Hired 2nd shift (2PM-10PM) Fabrication Supervisor. In this role you will be a key team member responsible for overseeing the production, product quality and safety within an assigned production area (Lasers, Burn Tables, Saw, Brake Press and Material Handlers) with up to 12 direct reports. This is a working supervisor role; 70% managing and 30% working on the production floor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
Schedule production activities and maintain inventory to increase production and quality
Supervise and provide leadership, coaching, guidance, training, and staff development
Ensure parts are made error free
Participate in interviews and selection of employees for assigned bay. Evaluate employee performance; counsel and discipline employees as necessary and monitor time and attendance
Ensure departmental goals of safety, quality, productivity, utilization, cost and delivery are met
Create and maintain atmosphere of trust and positive morale
Participate in Continuous Improvement projects and Kaizen events
Experience and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to read blueprints
Work well in a fast-paced environment, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to multitask on a variety of projects
Previous supervisory experience required
