Job Type:
Full-Time Lead Quality. Drive Food Safety. Make an Impact. We are seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor to join a growing manufacturing team and lead day-to-day quality and food safety activities. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands SQF, HACCP, GMPs, and regulatory compliance and enjoys working with both people and processes. As Quality Supervisor, you will lead and develop the Quality team, support audits and inspections, monitor compliance, investigate quality concerns, and partner with Production and Operations to drive continuous improvement. You will also serve as the backup to the Quality Manager on quality, food safety, customer, regulatory, and certification matters. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and develop Quality team members. Ensure compliance with SQF, GMP, HACCP, customer, and regulatory requirements . Support SQF, customer, regulatory, and third-party audits. Conduct GMP inspections and internal quality/process audits. Investigate quality issues and assist with root cause and corrective actions. Maintain quality records, reports, procedures, and documentation. Coordinate quality and food safety training and maintain the training matrix. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports. Coordinate Quality team staffing and coverage as needed. Assist with equipment verification and calibration. Partner with Production, Operations, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Safety teams to resolve quality concerns and improve processes. Support the Quality Manager with projects, audits, and compliance initiatives. What You Bring 3-5 years of quality assurance experience in food manufacturing, plastics, packaging, or another regulated manufacturing environment. Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMPs, food safety, and regulatory compliance . SQF Practitioner certification required. HACCP certification required or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe. Internal Auditor training and ISO experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Education:
Associate degree in Food Science, Quality, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will be considered. Why Apply?
