Converting Operator Job Summary The Converting Operator is responsible for operating and setting up converting equipment used to produce flexible packaging, labels, and printed boxes. This role ensures machinery runs safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards and minimizing downtime. Key Responsibilities Operate converting machinery safely and efficiently. Set up equipment for production runs, including mounting plates and preparing materials. Clean, maintain, and inspect mounting equipment and printing plates. Monitor production quality and make machine adjustments as needed. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform minor mechanical repairs. Read and apply tape measurements for setup and quality checks. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE. Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production goals. Required Qualifications 6+ months of machine operation experience. 1+ year of manufacturing experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to accurately read a tape measure. Experience working with production or assembly equipment. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and maintain a strong work ethic. Preferred Qualifications Press Operator experience. Comfortable working in a small, team-oriented company. Why Join Us?
