Job Description
3rd Shift Production Associate- 12 Hour Shifts Job Description This role supports a plastic manufacturing operation by preparing, inspecting, and packaging parts and products to meet production goals and quality standards. You will work on a rotating schedule in a general production environment, assisting with loading and unloading materials, preparing items for cutting and finishing, and ensuring products are ready for shipment. Responsibilities Load and unload parts and products onto pallets in a safe and organized manner. Prepare parts and products for cutting according to specified measurements. Use a tape measure or other measuring tools to verify dimensions before cutting or processing. Prepare parts and products to be shipped for powder coating, ensuring proper packaging and labeling. Perform general production and packaging duties on the production line as assigned. Inspect parts and products for quality, identifying defects or issues and reporting them promptly. Follow established quality standards and processes throughout the facility to maintain consistent product quality. Operate basic production or packaging equipment and machines as directed, following safety guidelines. Support loading, unloading, and general labor tasks to keep production flowing smoothly. Meet production deadlines and goals by working efficiently and maintaining a steady workflow. Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety and housekeeping procedures. Participate in orientation and training schedules and follow instructions from supervisors and trainers. Essential Skills Experience in production, general labor, or general production work. Ability to perform packaging, packing, and inspection tasks on a production line. Capability to load and unload materials safely and efficiently. Basic machine operating experience or willingness to learn machine operation. Ability to use a tape measure accurately to verify measurements. Comfort working in a fast-paced work environment. Attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met. Reliability and ability to meet production deadlines and goals. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Scranton, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
