00 per hour, depending on position and experience About the Opportunity The Roots Collective is hiring dependable, detail-oriented individuals to support our Fulfillment and Production operations at Canamo Concepts, our award-winning cannabis cultivation and manufacturing division. As part of our vertically integrated company, Canamo Concepts produces and distributes cannabis products throughout Alaska while supporting our three Anchorage retail locations: Raspberry Roots, Midtown Roots, and Hillside Roots . We currently have opportunities in two operational areas: Fulfillment Specialist — starting at $18.00

Both roles require strong attention to detail, reliability, organization, and a commitment to quality and regulatory compliance. Previous cannabis experience is helpful but not required. Fulfillment Specialist The Fulfillment Specialist supports the compliant fulfillment and distribution of Canamo products throughout Alaska. This position works closely with the Distribution Manager to ensure inventory, wholesale orders, documentation, and product transfers are completed accurately and efficiently. Primary Responsibilities Assist with wholesale order fulfillment, product selection, inventory allocation, labeling, and shipment preparation Maintain accurate inventory records using METRC and internal tracking systems Prepare invoices, certificates of analysis, transport manifests, and other compliance documentation Coordinate order details, transportation requirements, and delivery schedules Process inventory movements, transfers, and product intake in accordance with Alaska cannabis regulations Utilize spreadsheets and internal systems to track inventory and product availability Communicate order priorities and fulfillment needs with the Distribution Manager and other departments Assist with inventory audits, reconciliations, and compliance reviews Support packaging and production activities when fulfillment demand allows Ideal Fulfillment Candidates Have Strong organizational and administrative skills Excellent attention to detail Experience with inventory, logistics, fulfillment, or compliance administration preferred Comfort working with spreadsheets and computer-based inventory systems Ability to learn METRC and cannabis inventory tracking requirements Ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple departments Production Associate The Production Associate supports the manufacturing, packaging, and preparation of Canamo products for distribution throughout Alaska. This is a hands-on role focused on accuracy, consistency, quality, cleanliness, and production efficiency. Primary Responsibilities Package cannabis products according to company specifications and quality standards Produce prerolls and assist with additional manufacturing and processing activities Weigh, count, measure, and document product quantities accurately Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Complete production and inventory documentation accurately and on time Perform quality-control checks throughout the production process Assist with inventory tracking, material usage, and chain-of-custody requirements Maintain accountability for tools, equipment, packaging materials, and assigned workstations Clean and sanitize production areas, equipment, and workstations Support daily production goals and additional production-related projects as needed Ideal Production Candidates Have Strong attention to detail and consistency Ability to follow detailed procedures and instructions Comfort performing repetitive, hands-on tasks Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills Previous manufacturing, packaging, food production, or cannabis production experience preferred but not required Requirements for Both Positions Dependable attendance and punctuality Strong attention to detail Ability to follow company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements Commitment to workplace safety, product quality, and compliance Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team Must possess or be willing to obtain an Alaska Marijuana Handler Permit Must possess or be willing to obtain a Municipality of Anchorage Food Handler Permit Must meet all applicable State of Alaska and AMCO requirements for employment within the cannabis industry Why Join The Roots Collective?
