• 1st shift Birmingham, AL $20 / per hour Full time Apply Now Back Job Description Snelling is currently seeking a dependable Winder Machine Helper / Production Associate for a manufacturing facility.

The candidate will be responsible for assisting with machine operations, material handling, quality control, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The pay is $20/hr with an early morning 1st shift schedule.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of Winder Machine Helper/Production Associate:

• Prepare and stage raw materials for machine processing.
• Load and unload raw materials into production equipment.
• Remove and transport finished products from production lines.
• Read and use measuring tools, including tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
• Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment or storage.
• Thread paper and other materials into machinery as needed.
• Sort and dispose of scrap materials in designated bins or storage areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications Needed for

Winder Machine Helper/Production Associate:

• Manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Ability to read and use measuring instruments accurately.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
