Print Production Specialist Pay:

$17-$25/hour, based on experience

Schedule:

Typically Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM; schedule is flexible based on production needs. Occasional split shifts of approximately 1:00 PM-8:00 PM may be required.

Full-Time About the Position We are looking for a Print Production Specialist to join our production team. This is a hands-on role combining graphic arts, digital printing, and production work. The ideal candidate has some experience with graphic design or print production and is comfortable working as part of a team. You do not need to know every piece of equipment coming in. We are willing to train the right person on our digital presses and Fiery workflow. We are particularly interested in someone with a solid foundation in graphic arts, a good work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to learn our processes. Responsibilities Prepare, format, and typeset customer files for digital printing Review artwork and files for accuracy, layout, sizing, and print readiness Operate digital printing equipment and assist with day-to-day production Work with Konica Minolta 7100 and Ricoh 7500 digital presses Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and Fiery production software Make basic adjustments to artwork and files as needed Monitor print quality and ensure finished products meet specifications Perform basic troubleshooting and communicate equipment or production issues Follow production schedules and meet deadlines Work closely with the lead and other team members to keep production moving efficiently Assist with additional print-production tasks as needed Qualifications Previous experience in digital printing, typesetting, graphic arts, print production, or a related field preferred Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus Graphic design/layout experience is helpful Strong attention to detail and ability to catch errors before production Comfortable working with computers and learning new software and equipment Reliable, organized, and able to work in a production environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn our specific equipment and processes Digital press and Fiery experience are not required. We are willing to train candidates who have the right foundation and attitude. What We're Looking For We are open to candidates with varying levels of experience. While strong print-production experience is valued, we are especially interested in someone with a solid foundation in graphic arts who is willing to learn our way of doing things. The most important qualities are reliability, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work well with the existing team. Working Interview Candidates who move forward will participate in a paid, approximately three-day working interview alongside the lead team member. This gives both the candidate and the company an opportunity to see how they work together in a real production environment. The working interview will focus on: Ability to learn and follow processes Graphic arts and production skills Attention to detail Ability to work efficiently Teamwork and communication Accuracy and honesty regarding technical abilities The lead team member will provide feedback and participate in the final hiring decision. Compensation $17-$25/hour depending on experience and skill level. Candidates with significant relevant experience may start at the top of the range. The company is also open to candidates in the middle of the range who have a good foundation and can be trained on the specific equipment and processes.
