Job Description
8 hour or 12 hour schedule In this role you will:
- Responsible for setting up operation of bakery equipment/manufacturing line, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products per production guidelines.
- Ensures compliance with Production/Packaging procedure/practices as well as inspecting all areas within one (1) line/equipment for any operational and/or mechanical issues.
- Reports all equipment issues to the supervisor or manager as soon as possible.
- Complete and submit reports throughout the day regarding production.
- Visually inspects product for quality and quantity.
- Monitoring runs and performing basic troubleshooting on our Bakery equipment.
- Support quality control programs to ensure production procedures follow best practices of food safety and quality standards.
- Understands and complies with all safety procedures that apply to daily operations.
- Work safely; follow proper lock out/tag out procedure where applicable.
- Maintains a safe and clean environment by adhering to safety policy and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) procedures.
- Adheres to safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation.
- May perform other duties not listed.
Tools and Equipment:
All tools and equipment which are required to be used by the employees shall be supplied and kept in repair by the Employer at no cost to the employee. These items must be kept on the premises. Work Environment This job operates in a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the work environment and manufacturing sites can be loud.Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Previous safety training preferred.
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Experience assisting with change overs preferred.
- Experience working in a team-oriented environment preferred.
