Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial. Experience Requirements At least 1 year of recent manufacturing experience Previous machine operator experience preferred Ability to read a ruler down to 1/8-inch increments Mechanical aptitude and the ability to safely operate basic production equipment when required. Dependable attendance, teamwork, and a commitment to workplace safety. Job Duties Clean containers, utensils, buckets, lids, and equipment used in the ink room Use solvents to clean ink room materials and press machine parts Inspect and check ink barrels for quality and accuracy Load ink carts and deliver ink to the appropriate production lines Adjust containers and equipment using power tools Perform general housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times Work in a solvent-based ink manufacturing environment Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Ink Room Associate. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery. Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
