Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production / Manufacturing / Assembly Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the assembly and production processes within our manufacturing facility, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to safety standards. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will contribute to efficient operations, process improvements, and the successful completion of production goals. Responsibilities Operate manufacturing equipment, including power tools and hand tools, to assemble components accurately and efficiently. Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and work instructions to ensure proper assembly procedures are followed. Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality standards of finished products. Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain safety standards in accordance with safety protocols. Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements aligned with lean manufacturing principles. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets while maintaining quality control throughout the assembly process. Qualifications Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with a strong understanding of assembly line operations. Mechanical knowledge with proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. Experience interpreting technical drawings and production documents accurately. Familiarity with forklift operation and manual handling techniques preferred. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including lean manufacturing practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on safety protocol adherence. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team or manage production/assembly teams as needed. Pay:
$19.00 - $20.35 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
