In this vital role, you will be actively engaged in all aspects of manufacturing, ensuring that safety standards, quality assurance protocols, and regulatory compliance are met consistently. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within a fast-paced manufacturing setting dedicated to food safety and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Operate and monitor production equipment in accordance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and FDA regulations to ensure food safety and quality standards are maintained. Follow detailed work instructions for food processing, packaging, and sanitation procedures to uphold strict hygiene and safety standards. Conduct routine inspections of products and production lines to identify deviations from quality standards; document findings accurately. Assist in managing sanitation schedules, ensuring all areas of the plant meet sanitation and cleanliness requirements for food processing plants. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets while maintaining compliance with regulatory/legal standards in manufacturing. Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and waste reduction within the production line. Maintain accurate records using SAP or similar manufacturing management systems for tracking production data, inventory levels, and quality assurance documentation. Qualifications Prior experience in food production or a food processing plant environment is highly preferred. Knowledge of FDA regulations, HACCP principles, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and safety standards in production is essential. Familiarity with quality assurance processes within the food & beverage industry is a strong plus. Basic math skills for measuring ingredients, calculating yields, or adjusting process parameters accurately. Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely while working efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication skills for managing production or assembly teams effectively and ensuring clear managerial communication. Commitment to maintaining high safety standards, sanitation practices, and regulatory compliance throughout all tasks.
