Job Description

Pacific West Foam Industry, Inc., a leading manufacturer and fabricator of foam for aviation, is looking for an energetic, positive attitude and willing to learn individual for light manufacturing and fabrication duties. Tasks will mainly involve work with saws or hot wires in order to fabricate parts to customer's specifications, labeling, packaging, and quality checks throughout the production process. Fast working speed and accuracy will be critical to the success of this position. Looking for a warehouse manager, pay will be given based on experience and skill level.
Education:
Education equivalent to a High School Diploma + production work experience a plus, basic English speaking, reading and writing
Qualifications:
Ability and willingness to learn and be trained. Possess excellent project and time management skills. Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications Very strong analytical skills Knowledge of basic measurements and how to read a tape measure and blueprint Knowledge of basic mathematical skills Good documentation and communication skills Able to promote process improvement Experience with manufacturing/production methods and procedures desired Able to follow verbal and written instructions Support innovation Ability to work in a team environment
Physical Demands:
Moving parts, machine noise Able to walk/stand for hours at a time
Lift/Move/Position:
25 pounds occasionally; 10 pounds routinely Vision abilities to include close, distance, peripheral, color and depth differentiation. Use of hands and fingers for fine manipulation. Frequent exposure to dust and debris from the production process.
Other Requirements:
Ability to work overtime and on weekends (as needed) If interested please come by the hours of 1 PM to 4 PM Monday through Friday and introduce yourself .
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
