This role supports all aspects of the production process, including equipment operation, flavor changeovers, quality checks, and adherence to batching and packaging requirements. The Production Operator works in a fast-paced, high-volume setting and is accountable for meeting daily production targets while following all safety policies, GMP standards, and quality specifications. This position plays a critical role in maintaining flow, minimizing downtime, and ensuring products meet company and regulatory standards. Core Competencies & Responsibilities 1. Safety & Compliance Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, GMP standards, and regulatory guidelines. Operate equipment in a safe manner and follow all lockout/tagout procedures when required. Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with food safety and 5S standards. 2. Quality & Standards Inspect products for proper fill levels, coding, labeling accuracy, and packaging integrity. Follow all SOPs, batch records, and quality control procedures. Notify leadership and Quality of any deviations, defects, or non-conformances. Ensure all products meet company specifications and regulatory requirements. 3. Productivity & Operational Excellence Operate assigned production equipment including fillers, labelers, packers, palletizers, and related machinery. Perform product changeovers, line adjustments, start-ups, and shutdowns efficiently. Monitor production line performance and respond quickly to minor stoppages. Support continuous production flow to meet daily output and efficiency targets. Assist with minimizing downtime, waste, and product loss. 4. Communication & Teamwork Communicate shift updates, equipment issues, and production concerns to supervisors and team members. Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and Sanitation teams to support operations. Maintain a professional, respectful, and team-oriented work environment. Assist in onboarding and training new operators as needed. Maintain all production documentation. 5.
