Main Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performs in-process and final verifications per specifications
- Approves incoming materials per specifications, conducts visual and measurable verifications, documents nonconforming materials.
- Verify components, subassemblies, and assemblies per the specified requirements. Work with Production Leaders for feedback from production personnel regarding accuracy of procedures.
- Confirm that quantities, descriptions, and assemblies of received materials match ERP system.
- Generates Non-Conforming Material Notices and communicates all necessary information via emails, or face-to-face interactions to appropriate personnel.
- Enter data to track part history, inefficiencies, defect rates into appropriate file.
- Verify products are properly identified throughout the Production Departments, to include all RMAs, NCRs, Raw Materials, WIP, Finished Assemblies, and any other products requiring identification.
- Perform within requirements of the Quality Management System.
- Assist in generating monthly reports necessary to track part/product history and defect rates.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and perform duties in a safe and efficient manner.
- Assist in equipment calibration and recall.
- Responsible for aiding in all incoming and outgoing RMAs and process (i.e.: Able to analyze RMA product and assist in the recommendation and documentation of best ways to bring product to compliant status) .
- Perform any other activities/tasks as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
