JOB DETAILS
Pay Rate:
$ 20.50 - $24.00 per hourDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Understands and follows safety rules and precautions in a manufacturing environment. Employs a range of crating and packaging resources, including metal bands and protective coverings, to ensure parts are securely fastened and safeguarded during transport. Proficient in operating forklifts and other lifting equipment. Responsible for each lift, deciding when to check actual vs maximum allowable trailer load. Assists with inventory counts as required Maintains practices for continuous improvement within the work area. Utilize scanning equipment Inspect work visually for defects according to Quality Systems Provide cost-saving suggestions and ideas to improve productivity and eliminate waste Willing/able to work overtime Ability read, write, and follow posted schedules May be assigned other projects or tasks by the team leader Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) Valid Driver License A minimum of one year of related work experience in manufacturing or comparable work environment Good Communication Skills Basic Computer Skills Forklift experience a plus / Must be trainable on forklift Crane experience a plus / Must be trainable on crane Flexible with working overtime and weekends when needed Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment Some knowledge of a manufacturing environmentAdditional Information Site Address:
