Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Manufacturing Shop Helper to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will support daily manufacturing operations by assisting with assembly, equipment handling, and ensuring safety standards are maintained throughout the facility. Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, including power tools and hand tools Support assembly line activities by organizing parts, materials, and components for production tasks Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to move raw materials and finished products within the facility Interpret technical drawings, production documents, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly and quality standards Conduct manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy components safely while adhering to safety protocols Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and assisting in implementing lean manufacturing practices Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following safety standards in production and adhering to safety protocol guidelines Skills Proven experience operating forklifts and familiarity with factory or manufacturing environments Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use measuring instruments and interpret technical drawings Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical assembly techniques Experience working on assembly lines or in manufacturing facilities with a focus on safety standards Ability to interpret production documents, technical drawings, and process instructions accurately Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement strategies Excellent manual handling skills with the physical ability for heavy lifting when required Effective communication skills for managing production or assembly teams and collaborating across departments Technical proficiency in using measuring instruments and understanding manufacturing management systems Join us in a vibrant environment where your contributions directly impact our success! Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
