$17.00 - $24.00 per hour See where innovation meets precision: Watch our video at shmachine.com/about#video About the Job We're hiring a dependable, hands-on Machine Shop Assistant to support our production and inspection teams in Burbank. This is a floor-based role—ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands and keeping operations moving. If you're looking for a steady, full-time role with great benefits, consistent hours, and room to grow, this is an excellent opportunity to build a career in aerospace manufacturing. What You'll Do Cut raw materials using band saws Assist with general bench work and shop tasks Pack, count, and organize finished parts Clean parts and assist with light inspection and assembly Support preventive maintenance and general cleanliness Tag, bag, and label parts for shipping Run parts between departments as needed Support the Gage Lab and Tool Crib Operate forklifts to assist with materials and shipping/receiving What You Need 1+ year of shop or warehouse experience (preferred) High school diploma or GED (preferred) Ability to follow instructions and work safely Forklift experience is a plus Physical Requirements Stand, walk, and use hands frequently throughout the shift Lift up to 50 lbs as needed
