Manufacturing Associate

Our client, a global leader in the development and manufacturing, is looking for a Production Technician to join their team in Camarillo, CA. In this role, you will support the manufacturing of advanced composites through technical processes like resin mixing, lamination, and CNC operation while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the fabrication of materials through resin mixing, prepregging, lamination, CNC cutting, and kitting. Support the setup and operation of production lines, including fiber processing and prepping lines, under supervision. Operate basic production tools and machinery in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Perform routine visual and dimensional inspections and accurately complete batch documentation and production records. Safely handle chemicals and resins according to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and PPE protocols. Assist with loading, unloading, labeling, and staging materials while complying with controlled area protocols. Uphold 5S standards to maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required; a one-year technical certificate is preferred. 6 months to 1 year of related manufacturing or mechanical experience. Strong mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills for data entry. Ability to perform calculations involving fractions, decimals, rates, and ratios (Math Assessment required). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (with assistance) and stand, stoop, or kneel for extended periods. Specific vision abilities including color and peripheral vision are required for quality checks. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and technical manuals.
