This role plays a vital part in supporting clean room operations, primarily in packaging wafers and warehouse support. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment where they'll be on their feet throughout the day, enjoys working independently under minimal supervision, quick learner, takes initiative, and is detail oriented.
NOTE:
This position is initially offered on a 3-month contract to hire basis , employment may be concluded at any time during this period. This arrangement provides an opportunity for both the candidate and Noel Technologies to assess mutual fit. Successful candidates may be considered for conversion to a permanent employee status following the completion of the contract period.
Shift Availability Requirements Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 4:00am - 12:30pm Training Schedule (first few weeks): 8:00am-4:30pm
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sort incoming articles to verify receipt against requisitions or purchase orders. Process incoming wafers and lots into fab through count verification and color code. Perform final QA/inspection of data, packaged material, labels, and I-Track lot movement. Package finished goods for shipment, including packing, boxing, wrapping, and strapping in accordance with customer requirements in a Cleanroom and Warehouse environment as needed. Prepare packing slips. Be knowledgeable of all courier documentation, forms, and bills of lading. Operate forklift with proper certification as required. Operate pallet jack, dolly, and other shipping and receiving tools. Ensure packaging machines are in good operational status. Complete forklift checklist log when using the forklift and notify manager immediately of any repair needs. Maintain shipping supply stock levels. Manage inventory of cassettes and customer inventory. Secure shipping area and items at the end of each day. Stock fab supplies in gowning room daily. Empty trash throughout the facility on a weekly basis. Perform other job-related duties as required. Job description may be changed or updated at any time. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Must be able to work and process packaging in both a cleanroom and warehouse environment Must be able to work in a wafer fab environment and wear required gowning (hood, smock, safety glasses, gloves, face mask, and shoes). Ability to work well with others and be a strong team player Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Must be flexible to work in any traffic and weather as well as work schedule, according to business needs. Ability to accomplish tasks without supervision. Demonstrate attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness. Manage several priorities simultaneously. Regularly, timely attendance is an essential function of the job.
Communicate verbally:
understand written and verbal instructions. Willing to continuously learn and train as needed for job requirements. Follow all Noel Technologies Safety polies, company policies & procedures. Possess strong leadership skills.
Working Conditions:
This role works in a sensitive wafer manufacturing environment, wears a cleanroom (bunny suit) which includes: hood, gloves, safety glasses, booties, and masks. May be exposed to hazardous conditions such as chemicals, fumes, and/or gases and loud noise during the course of work day.
Education and Experience:
Basic knowledge in math and computer skills. Understand written and verbal instructions. Demonstrates attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness. Well organized and thorough in work habits. Work under minimal supervision and adjust to rapidly changing priorities. Knowledge of semiconductor processes. Flexibility is required to assist in production activities to meet required workload demands.
Safety:
Adhere to Safety requirements in a clean room environment. Working with/around hazardous chemicals - proper safety precautions must be strictly followed. Ability to identify dangerous and unsafe conditions in operations and notify management immediately so that corrective action can be taken. Comply with Noel's Safety Policies and Procedure and IIPP (Injury and Illness Prevention Plan) safety practices. To wear proper PPE while working in a fab environment.
