•Women's & Girls Role Overview. We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Assistant Designer to join our Women's & Girls Design team. Working closely with the Design Manager, you'll be hands-on throughout the full product development process—from concept and design to fittings, tech packs, samples, and production. This is a full-time, in-office position.

What You'll Do:

Assist with the development of Women's & Girls College and Blank Wholesale collections. Support seasonal concept, trend, and design research. Create CAD designs based on current trends and seasonal direction. Create detailed tech packs, including measurements, construction, fabric, and trim specifications. Attend design meetings and fittings; maintain accurate notes, line sheets, and tech packages. Organize and maintain samples, artwork, garments, and trims. Coordinate sample requests and shipments for Sales Representatives. Assist with seasonal photoshoots. Track projects and follow up on deadlines to keep development on schedule. Work in the sample area and warehouse, including shipping and organizing samples, as needed. Take on additional design and department projects as assigned. What We're Looking For 2-year AAS or college degree in Fashion/Apparel Design. 1-2 years of fashion apparel design experience. Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Excel. Strong understanding of apparel design and product development. Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities while meeting tight deadlines. Self-starter who takes initiative and can also take direction. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to lift 10-15 lbs. for sample organization and warehouse duties.

Pay:

$23.00
