Assistant Designer - Women's & GirlsRole Overview We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented Assistant Designer to join our Women's & Girls Design team. Working closely with the Design Manager, you'll be hands-on throughout the full product development process—from concept and design to fittings, tech packs, samples, and production . This is a full-time, in-office position. What You'll Do Assist with the development of Women's & Girls College and Blank Wholesale collections. Support seasonal concept, trend, and design research . Create CAD designs based on current trends and seasonal direction. Create detailed tech packs , including measurements, construction, fabric, and trim specifications. Attend design meetings and fittings; maintain accurate notes, line sheets, and tech packages. Organize and maintain samples, artwork, garments, and trims . Coordinate sample requests and shipments for Sales Representatives. Assist with seasonal photoshoots . Track projects and follow up on deadlines to keep development on schedule. Work in the sample area and warehouse , including shipping and organizing samples, as needed. Take on additional design and department projects as assigned. What We're Looking For 2-year AAS or college degree in Fashion/Apparel Design . 1-2 years of fashion apparel design experience . Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Excel . Strong understanding of apparel design and product development. Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail . Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities while meeting tight deadlines. Self-starter who takes initiative and can also take direction. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to lift 10-15 lbs. for sample organization and warehouse duties.

Pay:

$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
